Fearless Expectant Faith in Action
Faith in action is belief that moves—pushing through fear, stretching beyond limits, and trusting God boldly until breakthrough becomes reality.
Someone Deliberately Touched Me
In a crowded place full of noise and movement, one moment stood out. A woman reached out—not by accident, not casually—but with intention. In Gospel of Mark 5:27, it says that when she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. Jesus stopped and asked, “Who touched me?” The disciples were confused. The crowd was pressing in. But this was different.
This was deliberate. Faith is never accidental. It is intentional. Someone touched Him with expectation.
She Had Expectation
The Scripture says, “When she heard…” — she heard about Jesus. Hearing built expectation. Expectation built movement. She didn’t just hear and stay home. She heard and she said within herself, “If I only touch His garment, I will be healed.” Expectation changes posture. It makes you move when others sit still. What do you want from God today? Do you have expectation, or are you just observing from the crowd? You may say: “You don’t know how bad I’ve been.” But you also don’t know how good He is.
She Had a Push
Crowds don’t move out of the way easily. She had to push. Twelve years of suffering. Twelve years of disappointment. Twelve years of trying everything else. But that day, she decided: “I am not leaving this place the same way I came in.” Faith pushes past obstacles. Faith presses through opinions. Faith ignores embarrassment. Sometimes your miracle is on the other side of your push.
Power Was Released – Faith in Action
Jesus said, “I felt power leave Me.” Not everyone in the crowd received power. Only the one who touched with faith. There is a difference between being around Jesus and reaching for Him. Many were close. One connected. Faith draws power. And when power is released, healing follows.
Stretch Out Your Hand
In another moment recorded in the Gospel of Mark, Jesus told a paralyzed man, “Stretch out your hand.” The instruction came before the miracle. He could have said, “I can’t.” But instead, he stretched. Sometimes God asks you to move before you see results. Stretch your faith. Stretch your prayer. Stretch your obedience. Your action activates His power.
Go in Peace and Be Healed – Faith in Action
After healing her, Jesus said, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed.” Faith is powerful enough to make you laugh at the giants in front of you. Like First Book of Samuel 17 reminds us through David and Goliath—faith does not deny giants; it defies them. Touch Him with expectation. Push with determination. Stretch with obedience.
