Don’t Just Wear Jesus, Lift Him

Live your faith beyond Sunday. Don’t just wear Jesus, lift Him daily through love, action, and authenticity that points others to His truth and grace.

The Old Has Gone, The New Has Come

When Paul spoke about transformation, he wasn’t talking about a cosmetic change or a temporary fix — he was describing a complete rebirth. “The old has gone, the new has come.” In Christ, we don’t just turn over a new leaf; we become a new creation. A new species. This new life isn’t just about what God does in us — it’s also about what He wants to do through us. The healing, love, and grace he pours into your life are not meant to stop with you. They are seeds meant to grow and overflow into the lives of others.

A New Creation, A New Identity

No one can rewrite the past, but Jesus can reshape your future. His blood gives birth to a new identity. We are no longer defined by what we’ve done but by what He has done for us. We’re not just safe from something — we are sent for something. Sent to be His voice. Sent to reveal Jesus to a world that desperately needs hope.

Receive the Power Before You Share the Story – Don’t Just Wear Jesus, Lift Him

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…” – Acts 1:8. Before we tell His story, we need His Spirit. Jesus turns ordinary people into people of extraordinary influence. Some people spend hours building physical strength — which is good — but spiritual strength comes from working in, not just working out. Spend time with God. Grow your inner life.

Let Your Story Speak Louder Than Your Status

Influence isn’t about followers or blue ticks. The Samaritan woman at the well didn’t have social influence, but when she shared her encounter with Jesus, a whole town came to faith. Your story carries power because it’s proof of his grace. You don’t need a platform — you need authenticity. Let your story speak louder than your status.

Lift Jesus — Don’t Just Wear Jesus

Faith isn’t an accessory we put on for Sunday and take off when life gets real. In moments of frustration — in road rage, at work, in arguments — that’s when love is tested and truth is revealed. Wearing a Manchester United shirt doesn’t make you a fan if you’re cheering for Tottenham. The same goes for faith. Saying you follow Jesus means living like Him — even when it’s inconvenient. The world isn’t looking for more theologians; it’s looking for more Jesus-filled lives. Don’t be a Sunday lamp and a weekday ghost. Let your light shine every day.

Be a Signpost, Not a Spotlight – Don’t Just Wear Jesus, Lift Him

Everyone seems to be chasing validation — the spotlight, the blue tick, the applause. But followers of Jesus are called to something different. A signpost doesn’t seek attention; it simply points the way. Our lives should point people to Jesus, not to ourselves. “He must become greater; I must become less.” – John 3:30. It’s not about being seen. It’s about helping others see Him.
