Building God’s Kingdom

God’s kingdom has many components. Everyone in life is building something, and the main question is what are you building? Building God’s kingdom.

Giving

When you give financially to God’s kingdom, you are investing into it in same way investing in stocks gives you shares. A key difference is investing into the world goes up and down but anything spent on God only goes up in value. This may not necessarily be limited to financial return but could come via many different channels. You might be the reason the church lights function, perhaps the reason the microphone plays throughout the church.

Service

There are many functions in God’s house. To name a few, it might be the person who welcomes people to church, worship team, heavy lifting team, production team, cleaners etc.

World

When you watch a YouTube video, your views are converted into a currency exchange format for the content creator. Same applies to netflix and other media channels. When you gym you build your physical being. When you study your building your knowledge.

Building Gods Kingdom

When you read God’s world you are building, when you are in his church service you are building, when you give financially you are building, when you serve in his house you are building, when you spread his word through your actions you are building just to name a few. Challenge yourself on how your building for him.

Bible Verses

1 Corinthians 3:9 – “For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.”

Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
