Walking on water

Peter walked on water during the storm by receiving a word from God. He sank the second his eyes drifted. Walking on water.

The scene

Peter is on a boat with others and there is a storm go. Jesus is out in the water.

Jesus called on Peter to come

Jesus gave a word to Peter in the midst of the storm and he started moving towards Jesus. Perhaps if someone else tried they would have sank immediately.

Hope and fear

These are to spectrums of faith. Hope looks forwards to whilst fear hinders you.

Peter was walking on water

He got into the water and started to walk towards Jesus. His eyes was on jesus whilst walking in water. His Hope was focused.

Peter began to sink

When peter took his eyes of Jesus he began to sink. His fear built while his hope sank. This manifested in him sinking.

Jesus in the distant

Peter screamed for help and jesus rescued him. We gather Jesus was quite far away from Peter yet got to him instantly.

Jesus enters boat

When Jesus entered the boat the storm stopped. Peace is the inclusion of Jesus and not the absence of the storm.

Reflection
