Love is a powerful force

Love is a powerful force that transcends all, embodying patience, kindness, and selflessness. What makes love so wonderful is that it is willfully carried out, not programmed.

What is Love

God is love. It is sacrificial and selfless in deeds. It comes from a place of kindness and patience. it requires both words and actions. Like watering a flower it requires input and time.

Love is like a wave at times

It is very easy to love during good seasons. Love is tested during stormy periods. Can you make difficult decisions for those you love if it means it would better them in the longterm?

Love requires time

The things you love will take up the majority of your time. On reflection are there particular things you love you would like to keep and are there other things you would like to change?

Forgiveness is key

At some point the people you care about will do something that might not be aligned to your way of thinking. Does that mean you say thats it I am throwing in the towel or do you take some time away to work things out and come back stronger?

Jesus Love & Forgiveness

Jesus expressed his love for humanity by selflessly dying on the cross so that our sins are forgiven. Dying for someone is the highest level of sacrifice you can do. He chose to endure severe punishment for you and take by your side so that we would have a chance with the father.

Action

Take an action to love your neighbour. Do something small you normally wouldn’t. It could be saying good morning to someone you don;t usually do. Perhaps paying an old friend a surprise visit. Take a small part of your day to reflect and do something for Jesus and your neighbour.
