Just like how water comes in 3 forms, God comes in 3 forms. Water can exist as gas, liquid and ice in the same way God exists as the Father, Son and holy spirit. The holy spirit is a person.

The holy spirit is an active force of God’s power manifested through his spirit. The holy spirit is the channel by which God can interact with others and manifest his power through us.

The holy spirit experiences various emotions in a similar way to humans do. There have been references to grieving the holy spirit. To grieve is to feel intense sorrow. This means the holy spirit cares very much for you as you can only grieve someone you are close to.
How do I get the holy spirit?
Prayer to God that you would like to receive the holy spirit whilst you accept the lord Jesus as your Christ and saviour who died on the cross and you will receive the holy spirit.
Does the Holy Spirit help us with prayer?
When we pray the holy spirit intercedes to help maximise our prayers. It is described to the extent that the groanings are too deep for words to describe. This is someone who cares very deeply for you for it to be described to this extent.
Where does the holy spirit live?
The holy spirit lives in your temple (body). Make sure to remember this detail as you are not alone in your day to day.
Proof you have the holy spirit
The power to say Jesus is lord comes from the holy spirit and the ability to not curse Jesus also comes from the holy spirit. Without the holy spirit in you, you would not be able to have Jesus as your lord and you would be able to curse him.
The holy spirit teaches you
The same way Jesus taught the disciples is the same way in which the holy spirit teaches us. When revelations come to you when you have a light bulb moment just know it is the holy spirit that stirred this within you.
