The Power Of Together

When a musical band plays, the harmonization of music in sync makes music so powerful. One instrument on its own may not have power but when you add multiple instruments it has more power to move you. Even when one instrument makes a slight mistake, the other instruments can cover you. If you play alone then it is easier for others to hear your mistake.

Everyone has an important role to play 

A church has many different departments and each section plays its part in building the full picture of Jesus Christ. The worship team create the music, the pastor preaches/prophecies, the finance team manage the money, ushers may assist in welcoming people to church and helping with other tasks, and videographers/graphic designers produce the great visuals. There are other functions that I have not mentioned but are equally as important. 

What If I don’t play my part

Each function has its role to play no matter how big or small it may appear. If one function doesn’t perform, it can have a major impact on all the others. You may be the start of a positive movement that may not happen because you didn’t play your part. Perhaps you are the person that gives faith for someone to start. You might be the difference between the failure and the success of a project.

Am I Important

God made you to play an important part no matter what you may think. Remember you have the power to cause change no matter how big or small you think you are. 

Bible Verses

Acts 2:46-47 – Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

1 Corinthians 12:12 – Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
